Damaged Items
All merchandise leaving our warehouse is inspected and in good condition before shipment. If you receive a damaged package, please report the damage to the carrier immediately - before they leave your location.
UPS Shipments - Please contact Parts Express at 1-800-247-1237 immediately. Parts Express is responsible for handling damage claims with UPS. Damaged merchandise must be kept in the original packaging pending UPS inspection. Parts Express will notify you as to the disposition of the damaged merchandise.
Common Carrier - Please note all damage on the bill of lading before the driver leaves, take pictures if possible, and contact Parts Express at 1-800-247-1237 immediately. Please do not refuse shipment. This will only delay your receipt of credit or replacement of damaged goods.
Merchandise Returns
Permission must be obtained before returning merchandise for any reason. Please call 1-800-247-1237 for a Return Goods Authorization number (RGA number). Parts Express offers a 30-day, no-questions-asked return policy for unused/unopened items. That is 30 days from the original invoice date. After 30 days, a minimum restocking fee will be applied as follows:
- After 30 days - 15% restocking fee
- After 6 months - 20% restocking fee
- No returns after 12 months
The minimum restocking fee may be revised at our discretion based on the inspection of the returned merchandise and the circumstances involved.
Credit will be issued based on inspection of the returned merchandise. The customer assumes liability for freight when returning merchandise ordered in error. Returned merchandise must be shipped with all transportation charges prepaid. Merchandise returned C.O.D. will be refused.
Core Charges
Cores must be returned within 60 days of receipt of the original merchandise in order to qualify for a refund, unless prior arrangements have been made. Core charges will be refunded based on receipt and inspection of a serviceable core. Core returns must be accompanied by the core tag shipped with the original merchandise and a copy of the original invoice. Please reuse the original shipping and packing materials from your received product whenever possible.
